Audarya leads home 1-2 in Group-1 Prix Jean Romanet at Deauville
Sun 23 Aug 2020
Audarya and Ambition fought out a great finish to the Group-1 Prix Jean Romanet at Deauville.
Audarya showed a great attitude to win her first Group-1 for owner Alison Swinburn and trainer James Fanshawe. The daughter of Wootton Bassett was a €125,000 purchase at the Arqana October Yearling Sale.
Ambition has enjoyed a wonderful season for her owner/breeder James Rowsell, winning a Group-3 and Group-2 contest prior to this career best on his first attempt at Group-1 level. She is the first foal out of James' homebred Epsom Oaks winner Talent, whose dam Prowess was a private Stroud Coleman Bloodstock purchase.
Congratulations to the connections of both top class fillies.
