The six year-old stayer is a huge credit to trainer Hughie Morrison and his team as he seems better than ever this year. Purchased for just 25,000gns at the Tattersalls Guineas Breeze-Up Sale in 2012, Nearly Caught has now won six of his 22 starts, as well as being placed on another nine occasions and over £160,000 in prize money. He ran out the facile winner of the Group-2 Prix Kergorlay at Deauville today following up his five-length Listed success at the same track last month. The improving stayer looks set for an exciting autumn.
