Brightwalton Stud's amazingly progressive homebred filly Maid Up ran out a comfortable winner of the G3 March Stakes at Goodwood following up from her narrow defeat in the G2 Lilly Langtry Stakes at Glorious Goodwood. The gutsy daughter of Mastercraftsman has now won four of her last five starts and remains on a rapid upward curve. She was bred and raised at Jeff & Phoebe Hobby's Brightwalton Stud with her dam Complexion having been purchased on their behalf by Stroud Coleman Bloodstock in 2012 with the subsequent matings decided together thereafter. Maid Up could now have her sights raised into G1 company and has been expertly handled by Andrew Balding and all of his team at Kingsclere.
