    Purchased from Tattersalls Book 1 on behalf of James and Jacko Fanshawe's racing partnership, Fred Archer Racing, The Tin Man has provided everyone with enormous enjoyment in 2016 and capped a memorable season with a dazzling victory on British Champions Day in the Group-1 Qipco British Champions Sprint Stakes.  Defeating some of the best sprinters from across the globe, the son of Equiano confirmed himself as a top class performer.  The Tin Man will stay in training in 2017 and we are all very excited about a prestigious global campaign.

  • Nearly Caught wins back-to-back stakes races in France

    The six year-old stayer is a huge credit to trainer Hughie Morrison and his team as he seems better than ever this year.  Purchased for just 25,000gns at the Tattersalls Guineas Breeze-Up Sale in 2012, Nearly Caught has now won six of his 22 starts, as well as being placed on another nine occasions and over £160,000 in prize money.  He ran out the facile winner of the Group-2 Prix Kergorlay at Deauville today following up his five-length Listed success at the same track last month.  The improving stayer looks set for an exciting autumn.

  • The Tin Man wins Group-3 Hackwood Stakes

    James Fanshawe's improving sprinter showed his class to continue his progress towards Group-1 targets this autumn.  The four year-old son of Equiano progressed through the ranks at a rapid rate last season culminating with an excellent fourth in the Group-1 Champions Sprint on British Champions Day.  Beginning this season with an impressive Listed victory at Windsor, The Tin Man produced his trademark electric turn of foot to run out a cosy winner of the Group-3 Hackwood Stakes at Newbury at the weekend and is now all set for his next assignment in the Group-1 Haydock Sprint Cup.

  • Prince Of Lir wins Norfolk Stakes at Royal Ascot

    Goffs UK breeze-up purchase Prince Of Lir provided a memorable day for owners The Cool Silk Partnership at Royal Ascot by winning the Group-2 Norfolk Stakes in tenacious style.  On only his second start, following a winning debut at Beverley last month, the Robert Cowell trained juvenile found plenty for Luke Morriss's urgings to record a most exciting success.  Purchased in April at the breeze-up sale in Doncaster for the Cool Silk Partnership, headed up by Peter Swann, the speedy son of Kodiac is one of the best sprinting two year-olds in the country.

  • Rapacity Alexander scorches to French Listed success

    The very well-bred daughter of Dandy Man showed too much speed for her French rivals to win the Listed Prix La Fleche at Chantilly.  Showing blazing speed from the gates, Rapacity Alexander, who was purchased at Book Two of the Tattersalls October Yearling Sale last year on behalf of her owner Noel O'Callaghan, was not for catching and recorded a very smart time of 58 seconds for the uphill five furlongs at Chantilly.  This Listed victory is extremely important for this two year-old fillly as she is a full-sister to Group-1 winner Peniaphobia.

  • Lil Rockerfeller tops memorable weekend for Neil King

    Neil King enjoyed a superb weekend as Lil Rockerfeller provided his Marlborough yard with a first Grade-2 victory in the National Spirit Hurdle at Fontwell, following up the hugely impressive debut bumper success of Big Meadow at Chepstow the day before.  Stroud Coleman purchased Lil Rockerfeller with Neil at the September DBS HIT Sale in 2014 for £31,000, while Big Meadow was purchased for £85,000 at the Tattersalls Ireland Cheltenham Sale in December having won his debut maiden Irish Point-to-Point and rates a hugely exciting prospect for the future.  Congratulations to all the owners and the team at Neil's Ridgeway Racing.

  • Perkunas makes history in Qatar

    Perkunas made history in Qatar today by becoming the first ever UK-trained winner of a race in Qatar when victororious in the Al Rayyan Stakes under Jamie Spencer for trainer Brian Meehan and owner Sibbertoft Bloodstock, headed up by Bernard Gover.  Perkunas was purchased by Stroud Coleman Bloodstock for 42,000gns from Tally Ho Stud at the Tattersalls Guineas Breeze-Up Sale.  Congratulation to all connections.

  • Robin Of Navan roars to Group-1 glory!

    Harry Dunlop's classy juvenile, Robin Of Navan, provided Harryand all his connections with a memorable day in France this afternoon as he made all to win the Group-1 Criterium De Saint-Cloud unchallenged.  This impressive victory provided both trainer Harry Dunlop and jockey Tony Piccone with their first Group-1 win and establishes Robin Of Navan as a leading Classic contender for 2016.  Huge congratulations to Robin's four owners Cross, Deal, Foden and Sieff and to all the team at Harry's Windsor House Stables.  Robin Of Navan was purchased for €47,000 at the Arqana Breeze-Up Sale from Bansha House Stables and has now won over €380,000 in prize money and premiums.

  • Blue De Vega impressive in Killavullan Stakes

    Exciting two year-old Blue De Vega confirmed himself as a leading Classic contender for next season with a facile success in the Group-3 Killavullan Stakes at Leopardstown this afternoon.  Michael O' Callaghan's colt made short work of his rivals in a race that has a proven record of producing top class horses.  Purchased by Stroud Coleman Bloodstock for €32,000 at the BBAG Yearling Sale in Baden-Baden last year and subsequently re-sold by Tally Ho Stud at the Goresbridge Breeze-Up Sale, we look forward to watching Blue De Vega in his Classic campaign in 2016.

  • Monteverdi impresses on debut at Newbury

    Monteverdi ran out an impressive winner of his debut maiden at Newbury this afternoon in the manner of a colt destined for stakes company in 2016.  Purchased for €72,000 at the Arqana October Yearling Sale last year by Stroud Coleman Bloodstock and subsequently re-sold by Tally Ho Stud at the Tattersalls Craven Breeze-Up Sale, Monteverdi looks an exciting prospect for trainer Jamie Osborne and owner Michael Buckley.
